In the First Age, the Capercaille lived and played on the island of Annwn. The primate descendants of the lemur, the Capercaille walked upright and fished with spears. Theirs was a communal society, and they lived in complete harmony with the Gra until the coming of the Astir Mari.
In the Second Age, the fledgling Sidhe species spread throughout the world and divided into tribes. The first three tribes were the Davanish (People of the Holy Tree), the Zsulumi (the People of Wisdom) and the Annunaki (the Wandering Children of Anu).
After the Formori Wars and the Great Flood devastated their homeland in the Lake Country, Rhiannon, the first Sidhe Queen, led her people northward to the Eriu Islands.
The Third Age was the Age of Chivalry. The Sidhe explored their world and settled many new areas.
This was also an age of war. The three tribes of the Sidhe split into several factions and a great civil war was fought between the Davanish and the Valakyri, and their allies on each side.
The Stone Wars, as these civil wars were known, destroyed much of the Sidhe would and created two new tribes.
The Fourth Age was the Age of Innovation. The Sidhe developed amazing technologies and explored beyond their own world.
During the Fourth Age, the first humans appeared. At first, humans were pleasant companions and objects for study. But they became as vermin to the Sidhe as they overran the earth, bringing destruction wherever they went.
The Fourth Age ended with the creation of the prison world of A’dess Ashur, the cage of humanity.
The Fifth Age has been the Age of Isolation. With humans imprisoned safely in a world of their own, the Sidhe has withdrawn from human affairs, watching sadly as humanity makes a hell of the world they were given.
And within the True World, the Cailech Sidhe have withdrawn as well, preferring the keep to themselves and let Formori and Avari roam free through Tir Na N’og.
But the Wheel Turns and new wind is beginning to blow…
